The FAER Practice Management Resident Scholar Program provides $750 grants to help defray the cost of sending CA2 anesthesia residents to the ASA Conference on Practice Management. (Grants for residents chosen from programs within driving distance of the meeting location are $375.) This three-day conference includes a Saturday Resident Track that offers a valuable introductory overview of practice management issues.

Resident scholars who have attended the CoPM through FAER support are very excited about the learning experience. One appreciative scholar commented, “I found the experience to be wholly worthwhile; an incredible educational opportunity where these vital facets of our profession are rarely discussed in medical school or residency training...”
