Listed below are the education agendas in perioperative geriatric medicine of major public entities, professional societies and learning institutions.
Age Anaesthesia Association
This British professional organization presents an information board for professionals to read about the state of anaesthesia practice in elderly patients today.
The American Geriatric Society
Dedicated to the health of older Americans, this organization offers important resources on advocacy, public policy, research and education relevant to aging Americans and their healthcare needs.
Society for the Advancement of Geriatric Anesthesia
Dedicated to improving the care of the older patient coming to surgery. SAGA offers educational programs at its annual meeting as well as at meetings of other anesthesia societies. SAGA also offers educational support for anesthesia training programs.
