The ASA Committee on Practice Management has introduced an abstract and poster session at the 2012 Conference on Practice Management in Orlando, Florida. This is a great venue for participants in the CBA program to showcase their work.

This exciting new part of the Conference on Practice Management represents a collaborative effort between FAER and the ASA Committee on Practice Management. FAER will award the first, second and third place posters with cash prizes. The event will be judged by a team including representatives from FAER and members from the ASA Committee on Practice Management. The committee will recognize the winners and present the awards Saturday at the conference.

The poster session will focus on the topics of quality improvement, leadership development, challenging cases and their innovative solutions in practice management, and research in perioperative management. These topics are representative of the many topic areas addressed in the CBA program. CBA alumni may want to take the strategic planning project and develop a poster. You could adapt the original presentation or contrast the theory and how things actually worked out for the practice.

Submit your abstract today. Deadline for submission is Oct. 31.
